Schon 1971 hat die Landwirtschaftsorganisation der Vereinten Nationen dazu aufgerufen, den 21. März als den Tag des Waldes zu würdigen – in der Hoffnung, dass der globalen Vernichtung der Wälder unserer Erde Einhalt geboten wird. Es ist nicht gewagt, zu behaupten, dass wir Menschen seit dieser Zeit sehr viel dafür getan haben, dem fragilen Ökosystem des Waldes immense Schäden zuzufügen. Schäden, die vielleicht nicht irreparabel aber dennoch so folgenreich sind, dass Mensch und Tier täglich darunter leiden. Damit sind nicht nur die Ausbeutung des Waldes als „Nutzwald“ und die Rodungen zur Herstellung von Tierfutter bzw. als Weideflächen gemeint sondern auch das, was im Verborgenen im Wald geschieht, trägt zu gravierenden Balanceverschiebungen des ökologischen Gleichgewichts bei.
Mit unserer Initiative wenden wir uns an Politik und Verwaltung, um Gehör für die Belange des Waldes und seiner Bewohner zu finden. Dazu brauchen wir Ihre Stimme!
Stimmen Sie mit uns für
- Wald- und Wildhüter in den Forstämtern, die sich aktiv FÜR das Leben und FÜR die Biodiversität in Europas Wäldern einsetzen
- ein uneingeschränktes Jagdverbot
- öffentliche Informationen über das, was im Wald geschieht
- einen gesunden Wald als regenerativen Rückzugsort für Mensch und Tier
Nahezu jagdfreie Gebiete wie der Bayrische Nationalpark oder der Schweizer Kanton Genf beweisen, wie sich die Natur selbst reguliert und ohne signifikanten Eingriff des Menschen ein Höchstmaß an Biodiversität einstellt. Your Voice for Waild!
As early as 1971, the United Nations Agriculture Organisation called for 21 March to be recognised as Forest Day – in the hope that the global destruction of our planet's forests would be halted. It is not bold to say that since that time we humans have done a great deal to cause immense damage to the fragile ecosystem of the forest. Damage that may not be irreparable but is nevertheless so consequential that humans and animals suffer daily. This does not only mean the exploitation of the forest as a "commercial forest" and the clearing for the production of animal feed or as pasture land, but also what happens in the forest in secret contributes to serious shifts in the ecological balance.
With our initiative, we turn to politics and administration in order to be heard for the concerns of the forest and its inhabitants. For this we need your voice!
Vote with us for
- forest- and wildlife-rangers in forestry offices who actively work FOR life and FOR biodiversity in Europe's forests.
- an unconditional ban on hunting
- public information about what is happening in the forest
- a healthy forest as a regenerative retreat for humans and animals
Areas that are almost free of hunting, such as the Bavarian National Park or the Swiss Canton of Geneva, prove how nature regulates itself and achieves maximum biodiversity without significant human intervention. Join us in voting for the forest as a refuge of peace, tranquillity and regeneration!
